Lolaka ya Afrika

This show is aimed at educating Urbana-Champaign about various aspects of African news, culture, society, and politics. Working with the Center for African Studies at the University of Illinois, this program will feature weekly guests including students of African Studies, scholars, artists, musicans, and community leaders from Africa and the United States. An emphasis will be put on discussion AND education - in addition to discussing important issues and relevant contemporary topics, there will also be highlights of different African languages, music, literature, and religions. There would also be public question/answer over email, African music between discussion themes, and weekly guides to Africa related events in the area.
